Light Quality is a series of eight short stories written as scripts for collaborative outputs across variuos disciplines.

By merging scenarios, settings and states of being, each story describes immersive atmospheres designed to be evoked in different substances.

Soundscapes, scents, sculptures, images and flavors will melt into an environmental installation exploring the possibilities and limits of human perception.

Intro

"The external world is an abstract world, dark and silent, made of waves and vibrations. The brain must be present for a situation of concreteness to occur, made of understandable lights and sounds.

To say, for example, 'My eyes see' is inaccurate; it is the structures of the brain that see. The eyes merely transmit coded electrical impulses. Outside the eyes, there is no light, only waves. Any impairment of the brain, in fact, reduces the ability to decode the world, even if the senses are perfectly functional."
