Within the context of Villa Romana’s 2014 Open Studios, Matteo Nasini presents the installation Vento Violento (2014) especially created for the octagonal room of Villa Romana. Along with the installation, the artist present the sculpture A Bed Is A Door (vento permettendo rmx) (2014) on the terrace of the building.
Matteo Nasini (*1976, Rome) artistic research starts from sound study, to take physical shapes deeply examining and observing the sound and plastic substance’s surface. This leads to a practice that methodologically develops in sound installations, performances, audiovisual works and sculptural works.
