Jacopo Mazzetti (*1987, Milan) lives and works in Athens and Milan.
His artistic practice unfolds as a cosmic archaeology: tracing ancestral echoes and projecting possible futures, his work proposes a reality in which the boundaries between the ephemeral and the tangible meet, inviting us to enter a broader and more circular horizon of being.
Working across various media, he creates lyrical and metaphysical environments aimed at dissolving spatial and temporal constraints, refining the public’s perceptual sensitivity and intuition, envisioned as an integral and active part of the exhibition space. Characterized by an alchemical materiality and a post-anthropocentric vision, his work explores notions of circular time, psychic androgyny, and intergenerational exchange, staging intimate constellations that foster revelatory states of consciousness.
Since 2013, he has exhibited internationally, including at Centre d’Art Contemporaine (Geneva), Felix (Los Angeles), Fitzpatrick Gallery (Paris), International Press(Athens), Basel Social Club (Basel), and Beau Travail (Stockholm).
In 2018 he founded Octagon, an exhibition space and platform based in Milan.
He performs live sets as part of Wildlife Conservation Society.
